One our biggest weeks of the semester is Spring Break. This year, Kaitlin and I led separate student trips. Here is a brief run down of what we were up to.
Top Photo - Beach Reach! During Spring Break, Mark led a team of 11 HBU BSM students and 6 UH BSM students to South Padre Island to minister to and share the gospel with thousands of college students who descended upon the island to party. Our team joined up with over 800 other BSM students from across Texas to serve 11,000 spring breakers pancakes and give 17,316 spring breakers van rides. Through serving students, we saw 154 students come to faith in Jesus and 52 students baptized in the Gulf!
Please pray that our students would apply this same intentionality in sharing the gospel with the students on their campuses!

During Spring Break, the UH BSM took a group of 14 (9 international students from China, Austria, Mexico and Taiwan and 5 Christian American students and staff) and partnered with the BSM at Texas A&M to enjoy a Spring Break International Student Trip to Big Bend National Park in West Texas. Together we formed a group of 33 and enjoyed 5 days of hiking, horseback riding, two-stepping, star gazing, and exploring West Texas. Through sharing our lives, we were able to have many natural spiritual conversations about why we love and follow Jesus. Because of these conversations, one of the students from China has started coming to our weekly international student Bible study, saying that she wants to learn more about God so that she can decide what she believes about Him.
